CCB is a brass ensemble based around the traditional brass band format but generally performing as a smaller group and sometimes with instruments not typical of the brass band genre. We have a repertoire to suit any occasion.
Can we play for your event? Would you like to join us? Or just to find out more?
We are available for all kinds of engagements, indoor and outdoor: concerts, background music, garden parties, craft fairs, markets and other occasions where music adds to the event.
Some recent ones are shown below.

Our broad repertoire enables us to present a programme for any occasion: cheerful music for outdoor functions or perhaps a more relaxed style for indoors including well-known tunes, classics, dance tunes and some from the traditional brass band range.
We can also organise special performances as we did for a James Bond themed formal dinner at the Dorchester Hotel.
We have a few audio snippets mostly taken from live perfomances. There are more recordings on the way, but in the meantime enjoy these:
We are always keen to encourage new members. Maybe you haven't played for a while and fancy playing again. Maybe you play music but are just developing your brass skills. Maybe you don't play brass but something compatible: we are flexible in our instrumentation and have played with a flute, a clarinet, saxophones, and a bass guitar. We can usually find space for a keen newcomer.
Why not drop us a line to discuss coming along?
We rehearse at Holy Cross Church, Greenford, West London on Thursday evenings from 8pm until 10pm. The address is Ferrymead Gardens, Greenford, UB6 9NJ.
Capital Concert Brass was formed in 2001 by Ewan Campbell and Alan Mann to give an outlet for the brass musicians around the area. Their vision was for a traditional brass band, but time has led us in other directions, adapting to a smaller brass-based ensemble. We are a friendly and encouraging group, pleasing to audiences and consistently being asked back following performances.
We have access to a large brass band library and a wide range of more recent aquisitions including in-house arrangements and compositions. We cover a wide variety of styles and genres, ancient to modern, but always try to give them a brass twist.
We have not been great at keeping photos, but here are a few that we have. We'll collect more in the future!
